The first thing you notice is the luxurious water wall framing the main lobby.  That’s your first clue that this is more than just an ordinary recording studio.  This place is something special.  But that’s just the beginning, because Icon Studios is like no place you’ve visited before.

Directly past the lobby and salt-water aquarium, Studio B houses a 32 channel Icon D-Control and Protools HD4.  The custom designed Augsperger monitors are truly one-of-a-kind, because they were specifically designed to fit into this special room.  Dual 18 inch Augsperger subs handle the low end.

Head upstairs and you will find Studio C, which contains a Digidesign Control 24 surface with a Protools HD3 system.  The main monitor system is by Equator Audio Research, consisting of Q12 satellites and a Q18 subwoofer.  This system is tuned using custom designed software, so the sound of the room can be adjusted to your specific taste.

Studio A is under construction, but when it’s finished, it will house an SSL 9000 super-analogue console, Protools HD4, and a wide variety of analog and digital outboard gear.  The room was designed by Francis Manzella and will boast George Augsperger custom main monitors.  It contains a huge lounge with its own wet bar, and an available apartment for out of town clients to use while they are booked in the studio.  It also has its own private entrance, for the most discrete artists and producers to remain totally private if desired.  Studio A will be one of the premiere tracking and mixing rooms in the Southeast.
